We are working with a major operator to source for Quantity Surveryor, ideally who has experience in the construction of Marine Jettys, ideally for Oil & Gas projects. This is a 16 month contract role working on a residential basis with 5-days per week / 9 hours per day schedule. Please see details below;

This marine infrastructure project involves:
Construction of a jetty designed to support the safe and efficient transfer of specialized cargo Shore protection works to safeguard the coastline and nearby infrastructure Installation of advanced drainage systems to manage water flow and reduce environmental impact Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Assist in cost estimation, budgeting, and forecasting for civil and marine construction works Support in measurement and valuation of work done on-site Help prepare interim payment applications and final accounts Contribute to contract administration, including tracking variations and claims Assist in progress reporting and cost control documentation Liaise with site engineers and procurement teams to ensure accurate quantity take-offs Maintain organized records of drawings, BOQs, and site instructions Participate in site inspections and verification of completed works Support senior QS team in preparing reports for internal and client review Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field Basic understanding of QS principles and construction processes Familiarity with standard measurement methods (e.g., CESMM, POMI) is a plus Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of QS software (e.g., CostX, Candy) is an advantage Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn Good communication and teamwork skills Experience Required: 0–2 years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably in civil or marine infrastructure projects Internship or site-based exposure in construction projects is desirable Fresh graduates with relevant academic background are encouraged to apply
