Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our construction projects, you will play a crucial role in cost estimation, contract administration, and financial management of various building and infrastructure initiatives.

Prepare accurate cost estimates and budgets for construction projectsAnalyze and interpret technical drawings and specificationsDevelop and manage tender documents, including bills of quantitiesEvaluate bids from contractors and subcontractorsMonitor project costs and prepare regular financial reportsAssess and process variation orders and claimsConduct on-site measurements and valuations of completed workCollaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure cost-effective solutionsNegotiate contracts and resolve disputes with contractors and clientsPrepare interim and final account statementsAdvise on procurement strategies and contractual mattersStay updated on industry trends, building regulations, and cost data

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Building Economics, or a related field15 years of experience in pre and post contract work within a consultancy or main contractor environmentProficiency in cost estimation software and Microsoft Office SuiteStrong mathematical and analytical skills with keen attention to detailExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalKnowledge of various building contracts and their applicationFamiliarity with local building codes and regulations in Saudi ArabiaProblem-solving ability and capacity to work under pressureStrong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyCollaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a team environmentArabic language skills are highly desirable
