Quantity Surveyor – Construction | Permanent | Exeter

We’re seeking a skilled and commercially savvy Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established team delivering a variety of construction projects across the region. This role plays a pivotal part in the commercial success of each project, from procurement and budgeting to reporting and stakeholder engagement. Projects include, Education, Healthcare Services, Cultural and Historical Heritage, Commercial, Retail, and Industrial Sectors. 

Key Responsibilities:
Lead on budgeting, procurement, and cost management across construction projectsBuild and manage relationships within a robust supply chainPrepare financial reports and track project performance, including CVRsSupport sustainability and social value initiatives, including alignment with frameworksLiaise with clients, site teams, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project deliveryProvide oversight on contractual matters and assist with dispute resolution when requiredWhat We’re Looking For:
Relevant Quantity Surveying qualification (degree or equivalent)Membership or working towards RICS (or similar professional body)Knowledge of NEC/JCT contracts and construction legislationStrong commercial acumen and analytical reporting skillsUnderstanding of sustainable procurement and social value frameworksThis is a fantastic opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor looking to make a real impact in a forward-thinking construction environment, with a strong focus on sustainability, value engineering, and stakeholder collaboration.
