Quantitative Risk Modeling Analyst Sr
Description

Implementation Analyst, Sr.

The role is responsible for guiding and overseeing the implementation of CCAR, CECL, and BAU models as well as other non-modeled methodologies. The models and methodologies in scope cover the Retail, Commercial, and Securities portfolios. Role expectations include working and developing relationships across functional areas such as BSM, Lines of Business, and MRM. Other key responsibilities and expectations include:

Lead end-to-end implementation efforts for assigned models with a focus on developing modular, efficient, and optimized codeEngage model developers to understand and implement required model functionalityWrite, maintain, and enhance implementation documentationCollaborate with MRM on validations and address any identified findingsExecute CCAR and Mid-Year stress testing runsProvide training and guidance to junior colleagues

Basic Qualifications:

Masters Degree in a quantitative field5+ years of experience working in model risk management or another quantitative/technical role

​Preferred Qualifications:

PhD in a quantitative fieldStrong written and oral communication skillsTechnically minded problem solver with an eye towards creating/developing automated processesStrong programming skills, including SAS, SQL, Python/PySpark, BashExperience with version control systems, e.g., Git, Azure DevOpsExperience with data platforms, including Oracle, MS SQL Server, SnowflakeExperience with distributed processing platforms such as HadoopExperience with the software development life cycleExperience with large data and creating efficient data tables
