Join the JPMorganChase Card Finance Analytics team to help drive key business decisions and support the growth and success of the Card business!
As a Senior Associate in the Card Finance Analytics team, you will build and maintain a P&L forecasting framework and perform financial analysis that directly influences the Card Acquisition decision engine. In this role, you will develop expertise in the Card P&L, take end-to-end ownership of behavior forecasting, and gain a comprehensive understanding of the card underwriting platform. You will also collaborate closely with key finance teams, Card Acquisition Risk, and business partners to drive critical business decisions and enhance Card profitability.
**Job responsibilities**
+ Refine and manage the forecasting framework using SAS/SQL and Alteryx/Tableau to accurately predict card lifecycle usage, ensuring alignment across functional areas and decisioning platforms.
+ Adhere to firmwide governance standards by regularly updating model documentation for methodological changes, conducting internal governance reviews, and performing ongoing performance assessments.
+ Track and evaluate forecasting outcomes to assess effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and inform future adjustments.
+ Create and deliver presentations for executives that clearly articulate the objectives and financial implications of investments, both at the aggregate level and for individual initiatives.
+ Design analytical frameworks and develop detailed financial models and P&Ls to predict card usage behavior and profitability under various economic scenarios.
+ Collaborate with team members to identify and automate key areas of the analytic process, reducing manual work and enhancing accuracy.
+ Create tools and processes to improve forecasting and reporting accuracy, while ensuring compliance with governance and documentation standards.
+ Present analytics and recommendations clearly and concisely to senior management, utilizing strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
**Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills**
+ Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
+ 4+ years of experience in an analytical or finance-related role.
+ Proficient in building P&L and financial modeling concepts (NPV, ROI, etc.).
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
+ SAS/SQL experience, adept at working with granular data tables to draw out customer/segment-level profitability.
+ Experience in forecasting and budgeting.
+ Strong quantitative, critical thinking, and analytic skills.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
+ Superior organizational and process skills, with attention to detail.
+ Proactive and capable of working in a dynamic, matrixed environment and managing multiple responsibilities with tight timelines.
**Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills**
+ Card and/or banking knowledge.
+ Experience with Tableau/Alteryx.
