In this role, you will provide support and expertise to global Core Lab (CRLB) employees to ensure ongoing compliance with the CRLB Learning System and the Quality System requirements related to Learning. You will be accountable for supporting and/or leading activities related to Abbott Core Laboratory’s Quality System, with a focus on the Learning process. This position reports to the Global Quality Learning Team Leader. **What You’ll Work On** + Responsible for implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the quality system. + Provides Subject Matter Expertise on the learning process, including learning management systems, to other functional areas. Lead SME for audit support. + Ensures effective communication and promotion of learning activities. + Liaises with Division, Managers, and Team Leaders to continuously improve learning processes and/or systems. + Establishes and maintains a direct and proactive relationship with internal and external customers; has a strong understanding of current customer needs; anticipates and addresses issues; escalating as applicable. + Scope to author, review, and approve learning documentation/material. + Supports audit readiness to ensure successful audit inspection results related to the Learning system and/or processes. + Data analysis through the use of reporting and presentation of information for the Executive Management Review. + The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed; other duties may be performed as assigned. **EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING** **Required** + Bachelor’s degree preferably in Education, Science, Engineering, Human Resources, Business,or Instructional Design; or equivalent work experience and knowledge. + Minimum of 2 years in the medical device industry or other FDA-regulated industry experience. + Knowledge of adult learning delivery techniques and general principles of adult learning is a plus. + Substantial experience preparing and delivering presentations + Experience utilizing word processing software (e.g., Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) + Experience in working in a cross-functional work environment and matrix organizations. **Preferred** + Previous Abbott experience preferred. + Previous customer service experience is helpful + Experience in working in a cross-functional work environment and matrix organizations. **Learn more about our health and wellness benefits, which provide the security to help you and your family live full lives:** www.abbottbenefits.com (http://www.abbottbenefits.com/pages/candidate.aspx) Follow your career aspirations to Abbott for diverse opportunities with a company that can help you build your future and live your best life.
