**Job Title: Quality Technician** **Job Description** The Quality Technician will play a vital role in ensuring that products meet or exceed safe food handling and quality standards. This position involves collaborating with Operations and other stakeholders to maintain adherence to quality parameters, ensure controls function as designed, and escalate issues promptly. **Responsibilities** + Assist in problem-solving events to determine root cause and establish preventive measures. + Possess knowledge and application of all laboratory procedures and be cross-functionally trained to cover all Quality Control and Assurance checks. + Act as a Trainer for all QA Lab, Line, and department policies and procedures. + Perform sensory evaluations on samples and document findings as necessary. + Ensure the effective collection and shipment of customer samples with appropriate documentation. + Work independently at batch stations and escalate issues when necessary. + Effectively batch and make necessary adjustments using experience and tools provided at frontline stations for all lines and product SKUs. **Essential Skills** + Experience in inspection, quality control, quality assurance, and quality inspection. + Proficiency in using gauges and other inspection tools. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. + Ability to abide by all internal policies, including adherence to GMP practices and attendance policy. + Proven organizational, planning, and time management skills. + Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. + Ability to follow directions and work independently with limited supervision. + Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accurate and legible documentation. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a comprehensive benefits plan including Health, Dental, and Life Insurance, Long Term Disability, Sec. 125, and a 401(k) plan.
