The Role:
We’re seeking a passionate and dedicated Quality Technician – Energy Systems who brings technical skills and expertise to the table. In this role, you’ll plan, coordinate, and execute projects in a manufacturing environment while collaborating with a dynamic and diverse team to achieve shared goals. What You’ll Be Doing:
Analyzing discovered or reported product or process nonconformance’s for containment and assists in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation. Reviewing more complex reports and data. Provides analysis, summaries, and resulting action plans to reduce defects. May analyze and/or gather data points to as it pertains to manufacturing and inspection of parts and other quality data as required. Preparing, co-authors, and/or review/revise standard work or procedures that effect quality of product. Performing or assisting in audits of manufacturing processes and audits to Standard Work and Procedures Exchanging information and resolves issues with senior-level staff inside and outside the company over a variety of project related issues. Providing leadership, support, and advice to successfully complete projects. Guides and trains inspectors to be able to perform inspector role when needed Maintaining records with appropriate supporting material. Updates records as necessary. Performing related work as assigned including inspection responsibilities. Use precision measurement tools, basic manufacturing tools and pallet jacks.What We’re Looking For:
2 or more years in a manufacturing or assembly. HS Diploma or GED Ability to lift 30 pounds repeatedly Experience with Microsoft Suite of toolsWhat Sets You Apart:
Experience with precision measurement tools Business systems knowledge of SAP. Quality, ISO 9001 and mechanical inspection experience preferred. High level attention to detail Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to read and comprehend standard work and specifications Excellent customer service skills Knowledge of Continuous Improvement/Defect reduction tools and activities Understanding of shipping/receiving concepts
Where and When You’ll Work:
This is an in-person role located at our Kirkwood, NY location—ideal for those who thrive in a hands-on, team-oriented environment. This position works Monday – Thursday 6:00am – 3:30pm and Friday 6:00am – 10:00am; overtime as required based on business needs.What Your Total Compensation & Benefits Package will look like:
Wage - $19.76 - $24.08 per hour. Compensation depends on the selected candidate’s education and experience.
