**Quality Technician - 2nd - Pay - $20-$24** **Job Description** As a Quality Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that quality requirements are met throughout the manufacturing process by performing inspections, measurements, and tests on incoming materials, in-process, and finished products. This role operates on the 2nd shift from 2:00 PM to 10:20 PM, Monday through Friday. **Responsibilities** + Perform inspections, measurements, and tests on product and processes at various stages within the manufacturing process, including setup. + Collect samples for testing, inspection, and measurement. + Conduct material and metallurgical testing and prepare metallurgical reports. + Read, analyze, and use drawings, blueprints, sample data, and other materials to determine conformance to requirements. + Setup and use various types of inspection and measurement equipment to validate product and process conformance. + Notify supervisor or specified personnel of deviations from specifications. + Affix stamps, tags, or labels to identify product inspection status. + Route nonconforming materials to the containment area or sorting/inspection. + Record inspection, measurement, and test data on designated forms or computer systems. + Monitor and audit production operations, ensuring proper use of test equipment and adherence to procedures. + Review certificates of compliance and other test reports on gauges, materials, and products for validity. **Essential Skills** + 2-5 years of quality inspection experience. + Proficiency in using inspection tools such as calipers and micrometers. + Experience with optical comparators and contour tracers. + Capability to read and interpret blueprints and CMM inspection. + Ability to document information into computer systems. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in CMM programming is a plus. + Ability to hold parts up to 10 pounds for measurement. **Why Work Here?** Join a small, modern facility with under 200 employees where everyone knows everyone, fostering a family environment.
