What You Will Do:
Perform hydrostatic, mechanical, and electrical tests on equipment based on standard procedures and document test results
Troubleshoot, and potentially fix, issues that arise during testing
Upload, configure, debug and troubleshoot programmable logic controller (PLC) programs and related control logic on equipment
Use and install meters, power supplies, hoses, and other testing equipment
Critically evaluate quality standards
Interface with equipment design engineers to ensure electrical, mechanical, and control system tests are sufficient
Read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings
Oversee quality testing department to ensure schedule, quality, and safety standards are met
Use overhead crane and safe rigging and maneuvering of loads in support of the various equipment assembly and preparation for shipment activities
Operate a forklift and pallet jack
Other duties as assigned
Position Details:
Plant location: Glenwood, IL
Work week and shift: Monday - Friday 6:00AM – 2:30PM
Compensation package offered: $30.00 / hour
Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent
3 years of experience in an equipment assembly or electrical-related assignment
3 years of experience working on industrial equipment utilizing computerized (PLC) control systems to perform process operations
Experience using hand and power tools and basic size/weight measuring devices
Experience using electrical process calibration tools, including multi-meters, signal generators, and amprobes
Experience with low voltage AC (
