Job Title: Quality TechnicianJob Description

We are seeking a dedicated 2nd shift Quality Technician who will be responsible for performing quality inspections on the production floor. The role involves utilizing precision measurement tools, maintaining tolerances of +/- .002, and performing quality checks during production runs. You will also identify root causes, complete claim forms, manage schedules, process returns, and document reports. The position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate forklifts and overhead cranes as needed. Training will be provided on the day shift.

ResponsibilitiesPerform quality inspections on the production floor using precision measurement tools.Maintain tolerances of +/- .002 during inspections.Communicate effectively and conduct quality checks during production runs.Identify root causes and resolve issues promptly.Review and complete claim forms, schedules, and process returns.Document findings and compile data reports using Outlook.Utilize forklifts and overhead cranes as needed.Lift up to 50 pounds as part of daily duties.Essential Skills2-3+ years of industrial quality experience.Experience maintaining tolerances of +/- .002.Proficiency in using tape measures, micrometers, calipers, and taper gauges.Experience with quality software for tracking and reporting, including Invex software, Excel, and Outlook.Ability to perform heavy lifting up to 50 pounds.Willingness to obtain and wear steel toe and metatarsal boots.Additional Skills & QualificationsCoil processing experience is beneficial.Forklift operation experience is a plus.Experience with large-scale metal processing equipment is advantageous.Why Work Here?

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43680.00 - $47840.00/yr.

- Medical (BCBS), Dental, Vision, STD, LTD, Life Ins, 401 with 5% match\n- Family owned and company is continuing to grow\n- Monthly lunch-ins, random gifts/drawings (swag, blankets, black stones, beats headphones, PTO days, tool box, North Face, koozies, etc.)\n- Accrue 120hrs PTO over 1st year (can also request/take unpaid time off in no PTO in the system) + 7 paid holidays (eligible to start using after 90 days, can rollover 40hrs/yr)\n- Additional $1/hr attendance bonus & a $50 per week towards cantina money (equivalent to additional $1.25/hr) - essentially = additional $2.25/hour\n- Annual boot voucher
