**Job Title: Quality Technician**
**Job Description**
The Manufacturing Quality Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality of products, specifically focusing on off-road shocks. This role involves performing regular inspections on machined parts, conducting tests, analyzing results, and implementing quality control systems to meet customer expectations. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail and the ability to identify and report faults or inconsistencies promptly.
**Responsibilities**
+ Inspect the production process and materials to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
+ Conduct standardized quality control tests/inspections on products, materials, and components.
+ Record statistical data and compare it to existing standards.
+ Communicate and document non-conformances clearly.
+ Resolve routine questions and problems, referring complex issues to higher levels.
+ Participate in continuous improvement activities and take on new assignments when required.
**Essential Skills**
+ 1 - 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
+ Previous inspection experience.
+ Experience with lean and continuous improvement.
+ Proficiency in using inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, and thread gages.
+ Ability to read engineering drawings (blueprints).
+ Basic math skills with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
+ Proficient PC skills for data documentation.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Ability to lift 10-40 pounds.
+ Capability to stand for up to 8 hours a day.

**Work Environment**
The role is based in a manufacturing facility where tasks are performed on long metal table stations. The environment can become quite hot, with fans blowing to mitigate heat generated by power tools. The position requires adherence to safety and quality standards while working with various hand and power tools.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Riverside, California.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
