Quality Technician
**Job Title: Quality Technician** **Job Description** The Quality Technician will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in all areas of the laboratory and production floor, including equipment. The role involves maintaining the lab, locating panels upon request, closing and finishing job records, and managing stock and file retain samples such as panels and powder. Additionally, the Quality Technician will assist with sample preparation tasks including hand screening samples, particle size analysis, color reading, and moisture analysis. **Responsibilities** + Clean, maintain, and organize all areas of the laboratory and production floor, including equipment. + Close and finish job records. + Stock and file retain samples like panels and powder. + Assist technicians with sample preparation, including hand screening samples, particle size analysis, color reading, and moisture analysis. **Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in quality assurance, inspection, and analysis data. + Experience with sample preparation and manufacturing processes. + Ability to perform quality checks, color matching, and adhere to quality standards. + Strong written and verbal communication skills. + Detail-oriented with the ability to write out samples, reports, etc. **Work Environment** Work during first shift hours from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or third shift from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with training on the first shift initially. The team consists of 4-6 Quality Assurance Technicians, reporting to the Quality Manager. The dress code is casual, but no open-toed shoes are allowed. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of York, Pennsylvania. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
