Job Title: Quality Technician - Off Shift - Up to $22/hr!

Responsibilities

Monitor and maintain quality of all products produced at the site.Collaborate with management and production teams for testing and quality needs.Run samples from extruders and molders.Analyze colors using a spectrophotometer.Recognize non-conforming products.Utilize Windows 7, Office, and Word/Excel.Learn product lines.Apply English and metric systems in work processes.Use basic algebra concepts, percentages, and calculations.Maintain lab cleanliness.Enter data from online and offline testing.

Essential Skills

Quality inspection, testing, control, and assurance.Minimum 2 years of quality testing experience.Proficiency in Microsoft/Computer applications.Experience in a lab setting is preferred.Experience with color lab testing.Familiarity with a quality lab in a manufacturing setting.Experience with plastics, resins, or compounding.

Work Environment

The company is a compounding/plastics firm with roughly 40-50 employees. Initially, training will occur on the 1st shift. Current working hours are 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, and 10pm-6am, changing to 8am-4pm, 4pm-12am, and 12am-8am based on needs. Personal protective equipment is required, including steel-toe boots.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.
