QUALITY TECHNICIAN

Job Description

Join our team as a Quality Technician where you will play a critical role in reviewing products from start to finish. As part of the preparation for the snow season, you will utilize your skills in basic measurements using micrometers and calipers. Solid experience in CMM is a plus. You will track products through the fabrication and welding shops to the final product, using various documentation programs like Excel, SharePoint, and Minitab. The role involves a balance between documentation and hands-on work.

Responsibilities

Review and inspect products throughout the production process.Utilize micrometers and calipers for precise measurements.Document processes using Excel, SharePoint, and Minitab.Collaborate with the quality team to reduce waste costs.Engage in both documentation and hands-on tasks equally.

Skills and Qualifications Required

Proficiency in using calipers and micrometers.Experience in quality control and inspection.Understanding of measurement types, scales, and terminology.Strong mathematical skills, including measurement conversions.Ability to select appropriate measuring tools and techniques.Competence in using surface plate layouts.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr.
