Job Description
Join a dynamic team dedicated to ensuring the highest quality of products from start to finish. As a Quality Technician, you will play a crucial role in the ramp-up for the snow season, utilizing basic measurement tools such as micrometers and calipers. Your expertise will be pivotal as you oversee the product journey from the fab shop, through the weld shop, to the final product assembly. This position is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong experience in CMM, as you will document processes using programs like Excel, SharePoint, and Minitab, while also engaging in hands-on work.
Responsibilities
Review and inspect products as they progress through the production line.Utilize micrometers and calipers for accurate measurements.Document processes using programs like Excel, SharePoint, and Minitab.Balance duties between documentation and hands-on inspection work.Collaborate with various departments to diagnose and solve problems, aiming to reduce waste.Essential Skills
Proficiency in using calipers and micrometers.Strong understanding of measurement types, terminology, and scales.Solid knowledge of basic mathematical operations and measurement conversions.Ability to select appropriate measuring tools and techniques for different characteristics.Competence in measuring using surface plate layouts.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Basic math and measurement experience.Problem-solving abilities.Good communication skills.Experience in CMM is a plus.PPAP or other quality certifications are advantageous.Work Environment

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr.
