Job Title: Quality Technician Job Description
The Quality Technician is responsible for supporting quality-related functions, including incoming inspections, first articles, and managing customer returned products. The role involves inspecting incoming parts according to customer specifications or applicable blueprints, generating inspection reports, investigating returned products, and providing corrective action plans. Additionally, the role requires processing DMR information in Epicor and generating Certificates of Conformance for products.
Responsibilities
+ Support quality-related functions such as incoming inspection, first articles, and customer returned product management.
+ Inspect incoming parts according to customer specifications and applicable blueprints.
+ Generate accurate inspection reports.
+ Investigate returned (RMAs) products and provide corrective action plans to customers as required.
+ Process DMR information in Epicor.
+ Generate Certificates of Conformance for products when necessary.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in quality systems and blueprint reading.
+ Ability to conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective action plans.
+ Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
+ Proficiency in using basic visual and mechanical inspection tools.
+ Familiarity with ISO Quality System Requirements.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ High School Diploma or equivalent.
+ Knowledge of the AS9100 standard is a plus.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Berlin, Wisconsin.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr.
