Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Technician for technical data entry. This role involves performing technical activities as directed by the study protocol, ensuring complete documentation throughout the studies, and conducting data entry upon completion of the studies. The position also requires ensuring the availability of equipment and supplies necessary for conducting these studies, as well as performing and documenting all necessary maintenance and calibration procedures in the database.
ResponsibilitiesPerform technical activities as directed by the study protocol.Ensure documentation is complete throughout the studies.Conduct data entry at the completion of the studies.Ensure equipment and supplies necessary to conduct studies are available.Perform and document maintenance and calibration procedures.Process samples.Essential SkillsAbility to read, understand, and execute study protocols and SOPs.Work well in a team environment.Detail-oriented with the ability to follow standard laboratory operating procedures and health and safety guidelines.Work with minimal supervision to perform routine and non-routine tasks.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Organized, analytical, and flexible to adjust to priorities.Additional Skills & QualificationsAssociates degree with lab experience or Bachelors degree in Microbiology or Biology.Experience in a lab environment.Familiarity with equipment and documentation related to biological and chemical laboratory operations.Experience following SOPs.Experience performing data entry.GLP experience/understanding.Experience with information management systems such as SharePoint and LIMS.Work Environment
The work environment consists of two shifts: Wednesday to Sunday from 7 am to 3:30 pm, and Friday to Tuesday from 7 am to 3:30 pm. The position requires adherence to standard laboratory operating procedures and health and safety guidelines.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
