Job Description
As a Quality Technician, you will spend the majority of your time on the production floor performing quality checks, ensuring adherence to quality processes, and maintaining proper documentation. There is minimal opportunity for lab work, which involves preparing samples to be sent to a third-party testing partner. You will accurately interpret and follow reference documentation, including specifications and standard operating procedures (SOPs), while complying with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP). Effective communication of quality-related information both verbally and in written form is essential.
ResponsibilitiesPerform quality checks on the production floor.Ensure quality processes are followed.Maintain and update documentation accurately.Prepare samples for third-party testing.Interpret and adhere to specifications and SOPs.Comply with GMP and GLP standards.Communicate quality-related information effectively.Essential SkillsQuality control experience, preferably at least 8 months if no degree.Associates degree in the sciences (no experience required).Attention to detail and basic math skills.Strong communication skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsInterest in developing a career in manufacturing/quality settings.Desire for upward mobility.Work Environment
This position is located on the first shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM in a clean manufacturing environment. The facility is large, with several production lines where you will need to walk around and pull samples. The work environment is positive, with a strong company culture that values training and employee development.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
