Quality Technician

Job Overview:

Location: 2304 Century Center Boulevard, Irving, TX 75062

Shift & Schedule:Shift & Schedule: 2nd Shift | Monday–Friday, 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM Overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed


We are seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will perform standardized qualitative and quantitative tests on raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products to ensure compliance with internal and customer quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform laboratory testing on ingredients and finished products to verify compliance with company specifications

Conduct QA audits throughout the production facility; basic knowledge of production lines required

Record and input audit and inspection results into reports and computer systems

Calibrate and operate equipment such as:

Refractometer

pH Meter

Auto Titrator

Density Meter

Spectrophotometer

Understand CIP and product run rule processes

Support product and vendor hold procedures

Clean laboratory and testing equipment

Handle and inspect packaging components (e.g., caps, labels, PET bottles, glass)

Collect, record, and store retained product samples

Submit samples for in-house microbiological testing

Assist with QA projects and support as needed

Perform other duties as assigned


Total Rewards:

Compensation:

Starting pay: $24.04 per hour. The employee will move to a higher rate of $25.36 per hour in the quarter after their 6-month anniversary.

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED required

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a science or technical field preferred

1–3 years of QA experience in a manufacturing environment preferred

Proficiency in math and computer applications (Word, Excel, etc.)

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand/walk for extended periods

Ability to climb stairs

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Ability to operate lab equipment and computers

Ability to gather, lift, and transport samples to labs
