Job Title: Quality Technician
Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Quality Technician to join our team. In this role, you will spend your day on the production floor performing quality checks, ensuring adherence to quality processes, and maintaining precise documentation. While the primary focus is on production, there is minimal lab work involved, primarily preparing samples for third-party testing. You will need to accurately interpret and follow reference documentation such as specifications and SOPs, comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP's), and communicate quality-related information effectively both verbally and in written form.

ResponsibilitiesPerform quality checks on the production floor.Ensure all quality processes are followed.Maintain detailed and accurate documentation.Prepare samples for third-party testing.Interpret and follow specifications and SOPs accurately.Comply with GMP's and GLP's.Communicate quality-related information effectively.Essential SkillsAt least 8 months of quality control experience without a degree, or an associate degree in the sciences with no work experience.Ability to conduct quality assurance and quality checks.Strong communication skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsInterest in a manufacturing/quality setting with opportunities for upward mobility.Attention to detail and basic math skills.Work Environment

The position is on the first shift, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, in a clean manufacturing environment. The facility is large with several production lines, requiring candidates to walk around and pull samples. This positive environment boasts a strong culture where employees are valued and trained for career development. The company manufactures a variety of products including shampoos, conditioners, and sunscreens.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
