Quality Technician Location : MADISON, MS, United States Job Family : Support Job Type : Regular Posted : Jun 17, 2025 Job ID : 57724 Back to Search Results Job Description Apply Now > Save JobJob Saved Job No: Salary Grade:8 Loc/Sub Loc:366 FLSA Exempt:NE PARKER HANNIFIN CORPORATION Fluid Control Division Group/Division/Staff Function Position Title: Quality Technician – Warranty / Quality Returns Department #/Name: /Quality Reports To: Division Quality Manager Position Summary: Primary responsibility is to optimize customer response, turnaround time and communication on product warranty, and quality returns, and work with Quality Engineers to initiate corrective action to prevent reoccurrence of the problems. Scope/Supervision & Interaction - __ __ Has Direct Reports __X__ Does Not Have Direct Reports Essential Functions: + Receive in Customer Warranty / Quality returns. (Known as ATR returns) + Test product to determine if it meets our test requirements + Disassembly product to determine if root cause can be determined by visual evaluation of components. + If required, work with Quality Engineers to complete root cause analyses and determine corrective action(s). + Enter the findings and corrective actions into a computer database system .and close-out open RGAs in a timely fashion. + Develop customer corrective action letters using the computer database system or Microsoft Word as appropriate. + Coordinate product repairs in a timely fashion per customer requirements. + Coordinate return of repaired product to the customer. + Working with Customer Service close-out open ATR’s + Perform other tasks and special projects as assigned and approved by the Divisional Quality Manager. Qualifications: + High School or GED required. Some Technical education preferred. + Technical knowledge of valve assembly and function + Some knowledge of machining methods and practices. + Ability to write technical summary of product evaluations for both internal and external customers. + Ability to workindependently + Must possess good organization and planning skills. + Must have basic computer and typing skills. + Basic Problem Solving Skills Additional Comments: The essential functions have been provided as examples of the type of work performed by employees assigned to this job classification.
