Scope/Supervision & Interaction - __ __ Has Direct Reports __X__ Does Not Have Direct Reports Essential Functions: + Receive in Customer Warranty / Quality returns. (Known as ATR returns) + Test product to determine if it meets our test requirements + Disassembly product to determine if root cause can be determined by visual evaluation of components. + If required, work with Quality Engineers to complete root cause analyses and determine corrective action(s). + Enter the findings and corrective actions into a computer database system .and close-out open RGAs in a timely fashion. + Develop customer corrective action letters using the computer database system or Microsoft Word as appropriate. + Coordinate product repairs in a timely fashion per customer requirements. + Coordinate return of repaired product to the customer. + Working with Customer Service close-out open ATR’s + Perform other tasks and special projects as assigned and approved by the Divisional Quality Manager. Qualifications: + High School or GED required. Some Technical education preferred. + Technical knowledge of valve assembly and function + Some knowledge of machining methods and practices. + Ability to write technical summary of product evaluations for both internal and external customers. + Ability to workindependently + Must possess good organization and planning skills. + Must have basic computer and typing skills. + Basic Problem Solving Skills Additional Comments: The essential functions have been provided as examples of the type of work performed by employees assigned to this job classification.
