**Job Title: Quality Technician** **Job Description** We have an immediate opening for a Quality Technician. This role is critical in ensuring that the metal parts manufactured in our metal stamping facility meet the high-quality standards of our customers in the automotive and heavy equipment industries. You will utilize calipers, gauges, and micrometers to perform quality checks and will also be responsible for documenting your findings efficiently using a computer. **Responsibilities** + Utilize calipers, gauges, and micrometers to inspect metal parts. + Ensure all products meet quality standards for automotive and heavy equipment industries. + Document quality inspection results accurately using a computer. + Work collaboratively with team members to maintain a high standard of product quality. **Essential Skills** + 2+ years of quality experience in an industrial setting. + Proficiency in using calipers, gauges, and micrometers. + Efficient computer skills for documentation. + Experience in steel/stamping environments. **Why Work Here?** Employees who maintain perfect attendance and punctuality for the week receive a $0.25 hourly attendance bonus. The shift is **5:00am - 3:30pm (Monday - Thursday), 4 -10 hour days.** **Work Environment** The facility is a metal stamping company supporting the automotive industry, particularly heavy trucks and Caterpillar. The environment is loud and not temperature-controlled, so it can get hot in the summer. The culture is laid back, and teamwork is emphasized. Although the company is UAW Union, membership is not mandatory. The dress code includes jeans and steel-toed boots. The work schedule consists of 10-hour shifts from Monday to Thursday, with occasional work on Fridays depending on workload. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of **Bluffton, Indiana.** **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
