General Summary:
Under general supervision performs passivation related tests on aerospace fasteners. Evaluate parts for compliance with customer specifications.
Specific Responsibilities:
Perform with efficiency the majority of the following keys skills as related to Aerospace fasteners testing:Passivation TestingTensile/Shear Test MachineMicro-hardness/Rockwell hardness testerMetallurgical sample preparation/inspectionTorque testingFatigue testingMaintain accuracy and proficiency while working between multiple work environment demands.Performs passivation related testing.Performs other tasks of equal or lesser skill as required.Other duties and/or responsibilities may be performed as part of cross-training or employee development plan.
Experience and Background:
Knowledge of most lab tests and passivation testingFamiliar with customer requirements, testing and equipment functionsCan interface with auditors and customer representatives
