General Summary:
Personnel are directly Involved in the inspection of raw material certification against industry and internal standards. The incumbent will use precision inspection tools (micrometers and calipers), industry material specifications, internal specifications and procedures/instructions in their activities to ensure acceptance of product to specifications and requirements. Incumbent may be required to use alloy verification equipment designed to verify the chemistry and alloy type of incoming raw material. Incumbent will use various computer programs to document the review and acceptance of raw material.

Enter data into various systems to document reviewPerform Dimensional Inspection of raw material using basic inspection toolsCompare certification, or what they gave us, to specification, or what we asked forActive involvement in process improvement initiatives Keep work area clean, safe and in orderly fashionComply with all safety policies, procedure, and practices. Report all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Human ResourcesParticipate in proactive team effort to achieve departmental and company goalsPerform other duties as assignedComply with all safety policies, procedures and practices as it relates to office/production working environments i.e. PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) when entering production environmentLight physical activity level performing non-strenuous daily activities of an administrative nature (30 Lbs max lifting may be required).All shifts may be required to work mandatory overtime to meet business needs.
