Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Quality Systems Technician. This role will take place at our facility in Hodges, SC.
The Quality Systems Technician role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining QMS procedures, work instructions, and templates to ensure alignment with standards like ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and AS9100. It includes managing document control and change management processes, conducting internal audits to evaluate compliance, and identifying non-conformities followed by corrective actions. Additionally, the role involves leading root cause analysis, tracking effectiveness of corrective/preventive actions, preparing quality data for management review, and conducting QMS-related training sessions.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $53253.0 - $78104.4 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

**What you’ll do:**
+ Develop, implement, and maintain QMS procedures, work instructions, and templates.
+ Ensure alignment of QMS documents with standards (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100).
+ Manage document control and change management processes.
+ Plan and conduct internal audits to evaluate QMS compliance.
+ Identify non-conformities and follow up on corrective actions.
+ Lead root cause analysis for system-level nonconformities.
+ Define and track effectiveness of corrective/preventive actions.
+ Prepare quality data and analysis for management review meetings.
+ Conduct QMS-related training sessions and ensure personnel follow procedures.
+ Identify QMS improvement opportunities using trend data, audit results, and feedback.
**Qualifications:**
**Required (Basic) Qualifications:**
+ High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
+ Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience including at least 6 months of Quality experience.

**Preferred Qualifications** :
+ ISO 9001: 2015 Auditor Certification
**Skills:**
+ Proficient with computers and programs including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), Power BI and SharePoint.
+ Experience reading and understanding technical blueprints or drawings.
+ Must work somewhat independently and make decisions that affect the workgroup.
+ Focus efforts on attaining assigned goals and objectives, which include meeting needs and expectations of internal and external customers.
+ Able to direct and influence others without formal leadership authority.
+ Working knowledge of Eaton Lean Systems, Eaton Quality Systems, Eaton Safety Process, basic electricity principles, and ISO 9000.
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills, persuasive skills, and analytical problem-solving skills.
+ You will participate in problem solving activities with the quality team, including but not limited to, Product Line Quality Council & 8D investigations.
