Job Title: Quality Systems Supervisor

Job Description

Supervise QA/QC and sanitation programs across the facility. Lead internal and external audit preparation and execution. Train and mentor a team of six lab technicians. Maintain and improve documentation accuracy, compliance, and control. Conduct root cause analysis for micro passing rate issues. Manage and reduce customer complaints through proactive quality measures. Oversee vendor approval processes and incoming material evaluations. Ensure calibration and standardization of chemistry instruments. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve safety scores. Participate in onboarding activities including shadowing, audit support, and internal scoring.

The environment is structured but fast-moving, with high expectations for multitasking, documentation accuracy, and regulatory readiness. Employees are expected to be self-motivated, able to handle pressure, and comfortable with shifting priorities. The Quality Systems team, including lab techs and supervisors, operates in a high-compliance, detail-driven setting. There’s a strong emphasis on training, mentorship, and continuous improvement, especially for new hires or those stepping into leadership roles.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Commerce, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $42.00/hr.
