Quality Systems Engineer

We currently seek a Quality Systems Engineer to join our division located in Avon, CT, and help support our continued business growth.This position is responsible for the implementation, maintenance, and improvement of quality processes and systems within the organization. The QSE ensures that products and processes consistently meet industry standards, customer, and regulatory requirements.Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Implement and maintain best practices for quality processes and systems: This involves working closely with various departments to ensure consistency and standardization.Business system improvement: Identifying areas for improvement based on internal audits and implementing corrective actions.Oversee Quality Systems Certification: Managing certifications like ISO and AS9100, and overseeing internal and external audits.Ensure Internal Quality Systems Compliance: Deploying and ensuring efficient use of internal quality systems such as Corrective & Preventative Action (CAPA) and Change Control Management.Manage Standard Work Development & Maintenance: Creating and updating standard operating practices and documentation within the Quality Management System (QMS).Customer Facing Quality Systems Interface: Coordinating compliance with customer-specific quality system requirements.Lead Auditing program: Conducting internal audits and driving the continuous sustainability of the quality system.Promote Compliance & Ethical Behavior: Maintaining a high standard for quality compliance and ethical conduct, and training others on these subjects.Problem-solving and Corrective Action: Participating in brainstorming and implementing plans to address quality issues. Lead Quality Training program: Implement training best practices and provide and coordinate training to quality systems procedures.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
