Job Description:

Parsons is seeking an experienced Quality System Manager to support a major aviation program in the European Union (EU). In this role you will play a critical role in ensuring the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of quality management systems within the organization. Reporting to the Program Manager, the QMS Specialist will be responsible for overseeing compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies. This position will focus on driving quality assurance processes, conducting audits, and ensuring that all deliverables meet the required quality and safety standards.

This role requires a highly experienced professional with a strong background in quality management, process improvement, and compliance with large, complex construction projects or the operation of infrastructure or industrial facilities.

What You'll Be Doing: :

Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in alignment with ISO standards and organizational objectives.

Monitor and ensure compliance with quality standards, technical specifications, and applicable regulations across all project phases.

Conduct regular internal and external audits to assess the effectiveness of the QMS and identify areas for improvement.

Oversee the preparation, review, and approval of quality documentation, including quality plans, inspection and test plans (ITPs), and non-conformance reports (NCRs).

Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure quality requirements are understood and implemented effectively.

Perform root cause analysis for quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to address non-conformances.

Ensure proper documentation and traceability of quality-related activities, including records of inspections, tests, and certifications.

Support the development and delivery of quality training programs to enhance awareness and compliance among project teams.

Participate in risk assessments and provide recommendations to mitigate quality-related risks.

Coordinate with design, construction, and operational teams to ensure seamless integration of quality processes throughout the project lifecycle.

Prepare and submit regular quality reports, highlighting key achievements, non-conformances, and recommendations for improvement.

Enforce compliance with occupational health and safety (OHS) standards and environmental protection requirements as they relate to quality processes.

Provide technical advice and support to project teams to ensure quality objectives are met.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

At least 10 years of professional experience performing similar duties in the implementation of large, complex construction projects or in the operation of infrastructure or industrial facilities.

Participated in at least one service in the last 15 years that involved supervising construction works for the construction of a new or the extension of an existing airport, airport infrastructure, or airport facilities in the Republic of Poland. This service must relate to construction works with a total value completed or accepted by a certificate of acceptance (within the meaning of FIDIC) or a final acceptance protocol.

Held the same or a similar position for at least one investment project with a value of at least PLN 200,000,000 for a total period of not less than 2 years within the last 5 years.

Experience in implementing and managing QMS in alignment with ISO 9001 or similar standards.

Previous involvement in quality management for large-scale projects, such as airports, infrastructure, or industrial facilities, is highly desirable.

Certification in quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, Six Sigma, or equivalent) is preferred.

Language Skills: Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of Polish is an advantage.
