We're looking for a Quality Supervisor to ensure compliance with food safety regulations and monitor production processes to maintain the highest quality standards for our frozen treats. In this role, you'll work closely with production, R&D, and regulatory teams to ensure consistency and excellence in the final product.

Responsibilities:
Ensuring Compliance & Quality: Lead by example to enforce all operational Quality and Food Safety Policies and Procedures. You'll ensure compliance with internal and external audits, such as FSSC 22000. This involves providing support for GMP, HACCP, and FSMA FSP compliance throughout the facility by coaching operators and promoting minimal water use during production. You'll also provide support to local, state, and federal agencies as requested.

Experience managing allergens

Knowledge of FDA, PMO, IBOAH, and Indiana Code

Team Leadership: Direct and supervise quality specialists and technicians, ensuring that daily activities promote the production of high-quality food products. You'll also partner with operations management on key quality checks to be completed by line operators.



Quality Management: You'll manage the quality hold program and partner with operations to conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions. A key part of your role will be reducing customer complaints by using trend data to prioritize actions. You'll also drive monthly reviews of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and contribute to meeting yearly business goals.




Continuous Improvement: Monitor and assess the performance of quality systems, reporting their effectiveness to management and implementing actions for improvement. You will also identify, communicate, and apply "Best Practices" within the facility or from the broader network.

Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Skills:
Experience with internal and external audits (e.g., FSSC 22000).

Proficiency in using trend data to reduce customer complaints and improve quality metrics.


Experience with new product launches or formulation support.

A proactive approach to identifying and applying "Best Practices" within the facility.

The ability to contribute to monthly reviews of KPIs and help meet yearly business goals

Education:
Bachelors

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
Experience in a quality assurance or food safety role.

Ability to lead and supervise quality specialists and technicians.

Knowledge of food safety regulations and quality control measures.

Experience with managing a quality hold program and implementing corrective actions.

Strong leadership skills to drive improvements and promote a culture of quality.



The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with exposure to a wet and/or humid environment, high noise levels, and mechanical, electrical, and pressurized equipment.
