Job Description:

Location: Newington, New Hampshire

CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking Quality Specialist candidates in the Newington, NH area. Join our client’s team as a Quality Specialist 3 and build a career in fiber optics and high-voltage testing. This role offers hands-on training, career progression, and the chance to work on advanced electro-optical systems that power global communications.

Responsibilities:

Perform detailed testing on fiber optic cables and systems (OTDR, chromatic dispersion, polarization mode dispersion, electrical tests).
Analyze test results and document findings to ensure compliance with strict specifications.
Safely operate hand tools and power tools to prepare cables for testing.
Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and customer teams to resolve issues and maintain production flow.
Support process improvement initiatives and maintain a safe, organized work environment.

Desired Background/Skills:

High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree in electronics/electrical preferred).
2+ years of hands-on experience in electrical testing, fiber optics, or related electro-mechanical fields OR a strong track record of quickly learning technical industries.
Strong math and analytical skills; ability to read technical instructions and perform calculations.
Proficiency with computers and MS Office.
Comfortable working independently and on a team in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
Candidates must complete a mechanical/electrical aptitude test.

Schedule Details:
$28/hr with overtime opportunities
4×4 rotating NIGHT shift schedule 7PM-7AM
Temporary to Permanent Hire
