Job Description:
This job is responsible for testing and delivering complex software to accomplish business outcomes. The job establishes testing scope and coordinates test execution. Key responsibilities of the job include overseeing testing practices ensuring that software is tested to meet functional, non-functional and compliance requirements, conditioning and generating test data, building and executing both manual and automated test suites, recording and communicating the test results, triage defects, and ensuring regression test suites are maintained and well designed.

Seeking an experienced API Tester with 2-3 years of testing , preferably with Banking domain; who is expected to learn the business and technical components of the applications includes webservices, mainframe and database applications to perform activities related to test planning, creation of test cases/scripts, test execution, defect management and project closure activities. The candidate is expected to have proven ability to work on complex testing projects and drive results by working across all levels - from test executioners to Senior Project and Technical Project Managers. A technical background, test automation experience, banking domain knowledge and experience of working in global delivery team are a plus. Candidate will get an opportunity to contribute and grow within a highly collaborative continuous improvement culture. Responsibilities will also include the preparation and delivery of reports, recommendations or alternatives that address existing and potential trouble areas in IT systems and projects across the organization. Responsibilities:

Develops detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test cases based on functional, non-functional, and compliance requirementsLeads test planning, usually at a team level. When part of a Scrum team, ensure stories are well refined and contain clear acceptance criteriaLeads test case reviews and work with subject matter experts and stakeholders to ensure test coverageIdentifies automation opportunities and develop test automation for applicable test typesExecutes test cases, including manual and automated tests, and record test resultsDesigns test data and ensure data compliance requirements are met on all levels of test environmentsUses testing tools and follow processes to complete testing on a given test environment, and perform necessary steps required to promote code base to higher level environments

Required Qualifications:

Five Years of Experience in the following:

Web Services Testing, Java, Selenium and API TestingJira, Postman, SOAP UI, Parasoft, Web Services testing, API testing, Test Automation 

Desired Qualifications:

Banking Domain knowledge, Parasoft SOATest is preferred.
