Your challenge
We are currently seeking a Quality Specialist to join our team based in North Ryde. As the Quality Specialist you will play a key role in improving, maintaining, executing and sustaining the Market QMS processes for Philips ANZ, as well as improving business regulatory compliance and enhancing customer satisfaction.
This role is essential for maintaining quality by qualifying sub-processes and conducting audits. You'll lead continuous improvement initiatives that support innovation in quality assurance, while monitoring customer satisfaction through careful data analysis. In addition, you'll manage nonconforming records, execute delivery holds, and ensure nonconformance issues are addressed promptly within specified timelines. Key Responsibilities:
Implement and improve QMS processes (document control, training, audits) to maintain regulatory compliance and audit readiness.Perform quality assurance checks and inspections on manufacturing processes and finished products to ensure procedural adherence.Collect, analyse and report QMS metrics (non‑conformances, critical findings, training rates) to support management decisions.Execute post market surveillance activities in compliance with TGA and Medsafe requirements, including assessment, coordination, and processing of market actions (e.g. recalls, corrections, hazard alerts) in accordance with QMS and regulatory timelines.Administer nonconformance management, delivery holds and warehouse material records, driving timely corrective actions.Plan, prepare for and support internal audits, including documentation, audit assistance and closure of corrective actions.Lead root‑cause and trend analyses to investigate deviations and recommend effective corrective/preventive measures.Coordinate cross‑functional change initiatives with stakeholders, suppliers/distributors and IT to standardise processes and integrate systems.Identify and assess quality and compliance risks, proposing mitigation strategies to protect product and QMS integrity.Promote quality culture through training, assurance tools and continuous improvement activities focused on customer satisfaction.Maintain and share product, process and regulatory knowledge to support consistent quality practices across sites.
