You will execute all standard work processes using AM and PM (progressive maintenance standards). In this role, you will ensure that safety processes are observed, and that quality assurance activities are performed. This role will support the daily operations team ensuring conformance to corporate and local Quality Policies and SOPs and proactively address risks. **JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:** + Responsible for daily oversight of all food safety and quality activities of the production areas including HACCP, GMP, Specification Compliance, SOP Compliance, etc + Work closely with the Senior Quality Specialist, compliance coordinator and production colleagues to implement Lean Six Sigma tools to continuously improve Product Quality, drive down defects, complaints and improve scrap waste. + Maintain, review and file Quality and Food Safety paperwork on daily basis in accordance with company guidelines. + Support the Senior Quality Specialist in Investigating consumer complaints and trends. + Facilitate quality discussions and responsible for training activities in conjunction with the Compliance coordinator. + Manage hold/release and non-conformance procedure for finished product or raw/pack materials. + Manage Quality incidents from the investigation, remediation and follow up with the closure of corrective and preventive actions. + Participate in project teams for new equipment and infrastructure, working with Safety, Quality, and other departments. Night Shift The expected annualized salary range for this position is $47,674.00 to $73,434.00 CAD depending on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible to participate in a highly competitive bonus program with a target of 5% with the possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results, and potential shift premiums and / or overtime.
