Quality Specialist

Through interactions in product development, manufacturing, quality standard/testing, inventory management, coordinates or reviews all of the processes, procedures and measures that assure a front-end approach to quality .and manage all quality activities including inbound inspection/quality testing/returns inspection/consumer complaint/government quality checking, etc.

40% Global procurement quality assurance, communication and collaboration with production and development teams

1. Monthly report on the sharing and review of QC information by the China DC QC team to reflect quality issues related to new purchases, returns, and after-sales feedback from all sales channels in the China market.

2. Set clear quality objectives for new purchases from the China market and effectively organize and supervise the implementation of these plans.

3. Assist line manager in communicating with the QA team, identify all GB testing failure cases, and collaborate with them to handle relevant cases. 

4.Regularly review and assist in updating Deckers company standards in accordance with the latest Chinese GB compliance requirements.

40% DC inspection, processes and procedures, inspection training standards and processes (clothing inspection)

1. Understand clothing products and production processes, be able to comprehensively evaluate product quality and develop corresponding quality control measures.

2. Assist line manager daily quality control inspection procedures and processes in the warehouse according to Deckers quality control standards.

3. Assist line manager in completing on quality data statistics, related analysis, and inspection standards training

4 . Responsible for product testing arrangements and report inspections, monthly testing statistics and billing checks.

20% Cross departmental business communication within the company

1. The person in charge of communicating quality issue cases/potential quality risk cases to the internal team.

2. Follow up on quality investigations of fault cases and provide corrective and preventive measures.

3. Assist QA and production teams in communicating and handling factory repair and refund cases.
