Quality Specialist – Aerospace Industry

Are you a detail-oriented quality professional with a passion for precision and excellence? PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Quality Specialist to support aerospace manufacturing operations in Colorado Springs, CO. This full-time consultant role (9 months) offers a dynamic environment where your expertise in inspections and quality assurance will directly contribute to industry-leading aerospace products.

What You'll Do:

Lead corrective action boards with suppliers and validate root cause and corrective actions.

Conduct receiving and production inspections to ensure compliance with blueprints, specifications, and standards.

Utilize precision measuring instruments (micrometers, gauges, calipers) to inspect manufactured products and materials.

Make quality acceptance decisions based on documentation and workmanship criteria.

Maintain organized inspection records and document product discrepancies per company procedures.

Read, interpret, and apply quality policies, blueprints, and GD&T principles.

Complete First Article Inspections (FAI) and support multiple product lines.

Provide guidance on quality and inspection questions while managing multiple tasks to meet schedule needs.

What We’re Looking For:

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma (or 1 year of relevant experience without a diploma).

Ability to pass an eye exam and color test (with or without corrective lenses).

Preferred Qualifications:

Proficiency in blueprint reading and GD&T.

Knowledge of AS9102, First Article Inspection & Final Inspection processes.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, databases); SAP experience and NDT knowledge are a plus.

Strong organizational, accuracy, and communication skills.

Pay Details: $40.78 per hour
