Purpose and Objective:
SAP America, Inc. seeks a Quality Specialist at our Newtown Square, PA location responsible for the planning and delivery of the quality activities she or he is assigned to and take care that these activities are performed with high efficiency in compliance with the quality guidelines in order to ensure that the project meets customer expectations.
Expectations and Tasks:
Actively use the QM community and contribute to it. Perform the planning of quality assurance activities for projects of minor complexity. Coordinate the preparation and the execution of tests and perform the test monitoring and reporting, using tools like GTP and CSN. Prepare and moderate reviews (specification, design etc.) and perform the follow up tracking of the review results. Monitor the usage of static code check tools (for example CheckMan, Code Inspector). Perform formal quality checks of deliverables for the customer before the handover to the customer. Participate in functional test execution. Communicate with the customer concerning QM topics in alignment with the project manager/architect. Moderate lessons learned sessions and root cause analysis. Ensure together with the project manager compliance with respect to SOX, IP and ISO 9001 with the help of tools like ISP or cPro. Perform QM monitoring and QM status reporting and proposes corrective actions. Provide feedback regarding methodology, tools and best practices in order to constantly improve the development methodology and tools. Contribute to QM community by sharing experiences and ideas for QM excellence. Participate in SAP IBSO initiatives concerning improvement of operational excellence.
Education and Occupational Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, or a related field of study and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, or a related field of study.
Qualifications/Skills and Competencies Experience:
Prior experience, internship, or academic coursework must include each of the following:
+ Test automation including Java, Junit, Selenium, TestNG, Script, and Jenkins;
+ Unix or Linux based environment;
+ SQL database, including OS, JVM, Oracle or HANA;
+ Executing and maintaining test automation systems of more than 500 test scripts;
+ QA Testing and Methodology;
+ Designing, implementing and executing test plans, including unit, functional, regression, system and integration; and
+ Test Management Tools: Xray, JIRA, Confluence, and EazyBI.

**Compensation Range Transparency:** The annual base salary range for this position is $87,930 - $149,490. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $97,700 - $166,100. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
