Discover Impactful Work:

The Quality Assurance Record Scanning position is responsible for scanning all lot records, Environmental Monitoring (EM) records, Quality Control (QC) records, and other site records as needed into the AppEnhancer System. This role ensures that all records are accurately digitized and maintained in compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. The Quality Record Scanner will assist and support the organization in meeting Quality objectives and assure compliance with industry standards. Organize, and apply vital resources to meet identified Quality Requirements. Ensure Corporate, Regulatory, Quality requirements are met. Ensure that customer expectations are met or exceeded.

A day in the Life:Scan and digitize all lot records, EM records, QC records, and other site records into the AppEnhancer System.Maintain the imaging program and process for quality documents.Ensure all scanned records are accurately indexed and stored in the system.Participate in self-inspection activities as assigned.Support the maintenance of investigative processes such as PNs, Deviations, and CAPA.Assist in reviewing lot records and other quality documentation as needed.Participate in other Quality Management System (QMS) efforts such as CAPA, non-conformances, document control, training, and supplier quality.Participate in PPI (continuous improvement) eventsQuality Responsibilities:Observes all departmental and Quality System procedures and work instructions.Supports Thermo Fisher Scientific’s commitment for continuous improvement by documenting process improvement opportunities thorough the Quality System.Education and Experience:Minimum education and experience required: 3 years related experience with HS Diploma (preferably in a cGMP environment); 2 years related experience with Associates DegreeQuality experience in a Quality Assurance arena highly preferredDirect experience of working with ISO 13485, FDA 21CFR Part 820 and FDA 21 CFR Part 11 preferredExperience with AppEnhancer, Oracle, MasterControl, and TrackWise preferredMinimum Requirements/Qualifications:Ability to work independently with little direct supervisionProficient with Microsoft tools; Word, Excel, Power Point, TeamsOrganization SkillsAttention to detailProblem solving skillsStrong teamwork and collaboration skillsOrganized and clear technical writing: ability to communicate technical and analytical language in written prose executive summaries and conclusionsDemonstrate knowledge of Quality management System tools, continuous improvement methodologies, in-depth understanding of products and processesExcellent interpersonal, organization, and influencing skillExcellent communication, written and presentation skillsPosition requires working primarily at a desk, in an office settingThis position requires following cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) and working in a fast-paced environmentBenefits:
