Miller Brother Staffing Solutions is seeking reliable candidates for a Quality Screener position with a company in Fairview, PA. There are two openings on 1st shift and the starting pay rate is $15/hr.
Quality Screener
Shift: 1st 7am-3pm Monday through Friday
Pay Rate: $15/hr
***Candidate must pass a drug screen and be open to a criminal background check***
SUMMARY:
Inspects, tests, new and reworked parts for conformance to specifications such as dimensions, tolerances and hardness by performing duties.
Responsibilities:
• Implement daily practices, which will contribute to departmental housekeeping.
• Perform proficiently in a variety of quality related tasks including job specific inspection, screening, sorting, rework on assigned projects.
• Inspects cleanliness.
• Inspects parts for flaws or other non-conformances based on specification requirements with specialized equipment.
• Reviews and determines acceptance of products/services provided by subcontractors.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Serve as an active member of the team of employees by routinely performing tasks such as: reporting workplace safety hazards; suggesting quality improvement methods, etc.
• Responsible to ensure conformity to product requirements.
• Writes report regarding inspection and testing results.
