Position Objective

The Quality Representative – SMP will support the delivery of the APF Tie?In Project by ensuring all structural, mechanical, and piping activities associated with the scope meet the objectives, constraints, and quality requirements of the Project, the Australian LNG Oil and Gas Operator, and Joint Venture partners.

The role supports the Site Manager and coordinates all quality activities associated with structural, mechanical, and piping disciplines at site.

The APF Tie?In Project involves procurement, construction, and installation of new well pads, pipelines, plant shutdown works, existing pressure vessel internal upgrades, a new sales gas custody transfer metering package, a low?temperature inlet separator package, pig launcher and receiver skids, and associated balance?of?plant works.

The Quality Representative – SMP reports to the Quality Lead and works closely with the project site team, contractors, and operations teams to ensure installed facilities meet requirements defined in the Basis of Design, specifications, standards, philosophies, drawings, and other governing documentation.

The role also includes oversight of project coating activities, including field joint coatings for pipelines and coating works associated with facility tie?in scope.

Position Accountabilities

Key accountabilities include:

Site implementation of the Project Quality Management Plan Site implementation of quality requirements for contractors and suppliers Review of site quality plans, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), work packs, test packs, and procedures for compliance with company requirements Conducting periodic assessments and inspections to verify contractor compliance with approved plans and procedures Providing quality surveillance activities at site Attendance at company?nominated ITP Hold and Witness points for SMP and coating activities Providing QA/QC support to package leads, responsible engineers, and site teams Review of site Manufacturing Data Records (MDRs), quality reports, and quality documentation Administration and enforcement of project quality assurance and quality control requirements to protect final asset integrity prior to handover to operations Participation in contractor kick?off meetings, Pre?Inspection Meetings (PIMs), and weekly coordination meetings Ensuring supplier and contractor non?conformances are appropriately documented, tracked, and closed Management of company?issued Non?Conformance Reports (NCRs) for site activities

Additional responsibilities include:

Inspection of contractor material management and preservation practices Participation in toolbox talks, daily pre?starts, and close?out meetings as required by the Site Manager Participation in safety conversations, safety walk?downs, and Life Saving Rules audits Effective handover of site quality activities to the B2B role Professional Experience

Essential experience:

Minimum 5 years’ experience as an SMP QA/QC Inspector in the oil and gas industry Experience on brownfield construction projects, particularly hydrocarbon facilities Experience with coating activities in oil and gas projects Experience working in remote locations, developing countries, and wet tropical environments Strong interpersonal, communication, and reporting skills Cultural awareness and sensitivity when working within mixed national and expatriate workforces Technical Competencies Working knowledge of industry regulations, standards, and specifications Understanding of project management processes, including Management of Change Risk management capability Strong commitment to Incident Free Operations, occupational health and safety, and process safety excellence Qualifications

Essential qualifications:

Degree, Diploma, or relevant trade qualification related to the oil and gas industry Professional inspection certification in one or more disciplines (structural, mechanical, piping)
