Job Summary and Responsibilities
Facilitates development and implementation of data collection tools and processes including, the ability to identify data elements needed to complete appropriate measurement, perform timely data collection and abstraction per specifications, and validate data prior to submission or preview reports prior to publication.Generates reports and analyses to support related quality improvement, patient safety, patient experience and operational effectiveness using key statistical tools, including but not limited to, run charts, bar charts, pie charts, control charts, and cause and effect diagrams. Analyzes data and identifies key findings and develops action plans. Presents complex data with simplicity of design in a clear, easy to understand format.Learns, understands and becomes proficient in relevant facility, Dignity Health and external data sources and systems including, but not limited to, clinical process and outcome data, electronic health record data, event reporting data, and patient complaints, etc. (e.g. Midas+, iVOS, ATLAS, etc.). Assists in designing, developing, maintaining and updating clinical and other databases based on department and organizational needs.Collaborates on multidisciplinary teams and provides analytical support for various projects related to quality improvement, patient safety, patient experience and outcomes, as appropriate. Interprets, explains and discusses data analysis results.

Education & Experience
Education OR Experience: You must have an Associate's degree (or higher) OR at least three (3) years of related job or industry experience.Analytic Experience: You'll need a minimum of one (1) year of experience in analytic or statistical analysis, preferably within a healthcare or clinical setting.System Experience (Preferred): Experience with healthcare systems such as Cerner, Epic, Meditech, Allscripts, or Midas is a plus.Where You'll WorkFounded in 1910, Dignity Health - Community Hospital of San Bernardino is a 347-bed, acute care, nonprofit, community hospital located in San Bernardino, California.
