We are currently recruiting for a site independent TSSSA Quality Manager to support the business with the responsibility of leading quality assurance and control activities across TSSSA contracts, ensuring alignment with Siemens Mobility’s QMS and customer expectations. Working across various SMO locations, this role will collaborate with depot teams to embed quality into daily operations, including maintenance, modifications, and fleet performance.

You’ll make a difference by

Leading quality assurance and control activities across TSSSA contracts, ensuring alignment with Siemens Mobility’s QMS and customer expectations. Act as the quality lead for TSSSA bids and contract mobilisation, including the development of quality plans and risk assessments  Coordinate and conduct internal audits, manage external audits, and ensure timely closure of non-conformances. Collaborate with depot teams to embed quality into daily operations, including maintenance, modifications, and fleet performance. Support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions for quality issues, including “no fault found” investigations  Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery, reduce cost of quality, and improve customer satisfaction. Provide training and coaching to depot staff on quality standards, tools, and best practices. Liaise with Supplier Quality ensure quality across the supply chain, particularly for third-party components and services 

Your success will be grounded by

Degree of equivalent in an Engineering, Operations or Quality Related topic. Working experience in Lean Methods and Approaches in a project related industry. Experience and qualified for internal auditing to ISO standards. Ability to interface, work with and influence colleagues across the full spectrum of the fleet from Technicians to Fleet Delivery Manager. Experience of working in an advanced quality / safety critical manufacturing environment: automotive, aero, pharma, explosive atmosphere etc with practical experience of APQP style processes. Profound knowledge of core quality methods like FMEA, 8D, Ishikawa Diagram, 5Why and Value Stream Management.
