In our quest to revolutionize the world’s infrastructure, we’re seeking a dynamic Quality Manager & Process Ambassador for our Quality Management unit within our Siemens SI Buildings Organization.


The Role

You will serve as a value-adding orchestrator, responsible for defining and continuously enhancing quality throughout the entire product life cycle of a product line, as well as for selected OEM partners within the Automation Products portfolio.

Be able to contribute and improve activities across the entire product life cycle, promoting effective collaboration among Product Owners, Project Management, Supplier Quality Management, Product Development, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Logistics.

Be able to support the assurance of compliance with legal, regulatory, and customer requirements for the defined product line, contributing to high product quality and reliability.

 

Your new responsibilities

Ensures, evaluates, and monitors the implementation of quality methods and risk management practices in processes, projects, and products development — including 8D, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Quality Gates, and FMEA Initiates continuous improvement actions and lessons learned across Portfolio Coach & train project team members in process application and specific quality areas Ensures that managers and employees have a quality-oriented mindset by promoting role models and sharing best practices Develops and adapts communication approaches to effectively convey quality-related topics internally and externally, acting as the key quality interface for OEM customers Contributes to analyze customer quality requirements and satisfaction appropriately in order to meet customer expectations Executes the internal audit program to enhance transparency, effectiveness, and efficiency in internal project (or product) development, thereby driving measurable business impact Collaborates with the QM network and business accountable units (e.g. R&D, Procurement, Manufacturing etc.) to achieve quality business goals

 

Your Profile

Bachelor's degree required, Master’s degree preferred or relevant business or technical experience 5 to 10 years of similar experience ideally gained in a Global Company / similar industry Extended knowledge in quality management and prevention oriented quality methods Demonstrates deep knowledge and practical proficiency in Agile and SAFe development frameworks to support adaptive and value-driven product development Product development knowledge is a clear advantage Building management experience, or larger building automation knowledge, including cloud are a big plus to have Be a proactive leader with a strong background in Quality Management Analytical thinking, well organized person with good communication and intercultural skills Motivation, entrepreneurship, ownership, detail oriented, strategic thinker, continuous improvement mindset Team player, being constructive, good at negotiating, and seeking agreements Structured and organized Good communication skills in English and German (verbally and in writing)
