Hybrid working is a way in which our people can balance their time between the office, home, or another remote location. It’s a locally managed and flexed informal discretionary arrangement. As a minimum we’re all expected to attend the workplace for collaboration and other specific reasons, on average three days per week.

What you will be doing:

Reporting to the SVP Quality, HS&E & Business Improvement – Aftermarket Operations, you will drive the Quality performance and provide governance of its processes in line with the agreed Quality strategy. You will manage the deployment of improvement activities to focus upon critical quality issues and identified risks.

Key Accountabilities:

Lead deployment of the Quality strategy for Mature Engine Services to achieve its goals, enhance its reputation and deliver customer satisfaction.Govern the delivery of Quality performance (KPIs) to maximise efficiency and effectiveness in meeting requirements and business goals. Where Quality performance diverges from target, drive appropriate mitigation through coaching or direct action.To ensure relevant law / regulation, customer requirements and business strategy are understood; to input into the compliance strategy and ensure the effective implementation and deployment of this into the Operating System. Be the voice of the customer.In partnership with the risk owners, provide proactive assurance for the aligned business area that regulatory, business and customer requirements will be met through an assurance strategy targeted at risks and associated controls.To own or drive change to the Operating System, Management System, and/or Supplier Quality Management System Requirements (i.e. SABRe) to mitigate risks, maximise effectiveness and eliminate cost / waste through insight obtained from proactive assurance and problem themes.Protect the business and customer through performing, governing, and coaching of problem containment and resolution methods and tools, to minimise impact and to ensure the necessary corrective and preventative actions are completed and verified in a timely manner. Ensure the effective governance of Problem Management exists within Mature Engine Services.Enable Mature Engine Services to achieve Right First Time through the coaching and application of defect prevention methodologies and compliance to the Management System, reducing the risks from technical, human, and organisational factors to our products and services (Zero Defects).

Qualifications

Demonstrated knowledge of or affinity with delivering Quality through a previous role.A good communicator, the ability to influence without authority and to build strong interpersonal relationships.Commercial acumen and knowledge of the value stream (Manufacturing and Aftermarket).Knowledge of problem solving and continuous improvement – preferably 8D and Green Belt accredited.Knowledge of the Business Management System (RRMS) and how to deliver to customer requirements.
