Eaton’s Power Reliability Division is currently seeking a Quality Manager to join our team. This position is based at our South Milwaukee, WI facility.
The Quality Manager is responsible to lead the definition, execution and deployment of the strategic quality plan in conjunction with the plant leadership team. In this role, the Quality Manager will manage the establishment and administration of the plant wide Quality Management System (QMS) including quality assurance, quality control and continuous improvement. This position also includes development and administration of product warranty programs and field upgrades for all plant products.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $130000 - $190000 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

**What you’ll do:**
• Own and lead the plant Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, the plant Quality Manual, customer requirements, and applicable regulatory obligations; serve as the ISO Management Representative with full authority for certification activities.
• Drive strategic quality initiatives focused on continuous improvement, preventive quality, and risk based thinking across products, processes, and services, including PFMEA/DFMEA oversight and error proofing at the source.
• Serve as the primary quality interface with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders; lead customer audits, inspections, complaints, escapes, and major quality events, including cross functional containment, communication, and corrective action.
• Establish and manage inspection systems, statistical feedback, and data driven monitoring to ensure product conformance, QMS effectiveness, and transparency of quality performance.
• Own product warranty processes and CONC (Cost of Non Conforming Material), ensuring permanent corrective actions, financial impact visibility, and prevention focused improvements.
• Lead quality deployment for new products, processes, and services through PROLaunch, ensuring readiness, risk mitigation, and compliance prior to launch.
• Direct internal, customer, and third party audit activities, ensuring timely closure and effectiveness of corrective actions and organizational compliance.
• Analyze quality metrics and conduct management reviews, recommending operational countermeasures to close performance gaps and improve business results.
• Lead and coordinate continuous improvement initiatives, including 8D problem solving, Kaizen events, BPI initiatives, Six Sigma projects, and other structured methodologies.
• Maintain full accountability for quality performance with the authority to stop production or shipment to protect customers and the business.
• Develop, coach, and evaluate the quality team, including performance management, capability development, succession planning, and talent progression.
**Qualifications:**
**Required (Basic) Qualifications:**
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in quality, manufacturing or engineering
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience developing and leading strategic quality, manufacturing or engineering projects
**Preferred Qualifications:**
• Technical Degree Preferred
• ASQ CQE or CMQOE Certification
• Six Sigma Blackbet or Greenbelt Certification
**Position Success Criteria :**
• Quality Management System knowledge and experience (ISO 9001, TS16949)
• Understand EQS, ELSS & EBE as components of the EBS, including the assessment process and criteria.
