Required Experience and Education:

Bachelor’s degree in a related technical discipline preferred OR relevant experience/certificate to replace Bachelor Strong knowledge in Quality Assurance and related compliance requirements in the Aerospace industry. Experience in metal working processes like NDT and heat treating. Knowledge of continuous improvement methods and risk management techniques. Strong knowledge of AS 9100 and NADCAP system requirements and how to satisfy those requirements through the development of internal quality systems and procedures. Knowledge of SPC, statistical problem-solving techniques and other quality improvement methodologies. Ability to effectively provide overall direction of Quality Assurance. Strong communications and leadership skills needed to support and/or direct both internal and external customers.Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
