As part of our Manufacturing team, you’ll help build the world-class, state-of-the-art smart vehicles we're known for. In our plants around the world, we’re constantly developing new technologies and processes to further increase our efficiency. You will be the plant's champion for our Quality Operating System (QOS) and the lead authority on quality during the high-stakes launch of Ford's next-generation vehicles. If you are a strategic, data-driven quality leader ready to make a tangible impact on an iconic brand, this role is for you.
What You'll Have…
A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.A strong background in quality, preferably within a high-volume manufacturing environment (automotive, aerospace, etc.).Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage a team, influence cross-functional partners, and communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.A solid foundation in statistical analysis and structured problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, Root Cause Analysis).Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.Even Better You’ll Have…
An Engineering degree.
A Six Sigma Black Belt certification.Deep expertise in automotive quality systems and tools (e.g., QOS, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, IATF 16949).Prior experience leading quality for a new product or vehicle launch.Working knowledge of Ford-specific quality systems (GQRS, QLS, etc.) is a plus.You may not check every box, or your experience may look a little different from what we've outlined, but if you think you can bring value to Ford Motor Company, we encourage you to apply!

What You'll Do…
Lead the Plant Quality System: Drive the strategy, execution, and continuous improvement of the plant’s Quality Operating System (QOS), serving as the lead teacher and mentor for all quality-related processes and tools.Manage End-to-End Quality: Take full ownership of all plant-level quality functions, including Incoming Supplier Quality, in-process manufacturing quality, and Finished Vehicle Auditing and Inspection.Drive Quality Strategy at the Executive Level: As a member of the Plant Operating Committee, you will set quality policy, lead strategic initiatives, and report directly to plant and corporate leadership on all quality-related performance and activities.Champion New Model Launch Quality: Serve as the plant’s primary quality leader for all new model programs, ensuring flawless execution, process stability, and campaign prevention from pre-build events through full production.Lead and Develop a High-Performing Team: Manage and mentor a department of quality professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, data-driven problem-solving, and excellence.
