Job Description
Responsible for overseeing the Quality Department and direct reports, ensuring the overall quality of our products.
ResponsibilitiesTrain employees on quality requirements.Conduct internal auditing and day-to-day inspections.Oversee product testing and manage employee training and audits.Address customer issues and conduct customer audits.Perform supplier audits and ensure compliance.Conduct IPC training and certification.Manage PPAP and FAI reporting.Handle NCM/RMA disposition.Develop tests on automated harness testers.Issue non-conformances and maintain a log for customer reports.Essential SkillsMinimum 3 years of quality experience as a lead.Minimum 3 years of experience in a relevant environment.Minimum 3 years of experience working with and documenting PPAPs.Minimum 1 year of experience working with cables and wiring.Ability to interpret drawings within AutoCAD and blueprints.Minimum 1 year of experience leading a team.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with quality inspection, harness, and cable harness.Work Environment
This role is within a small, growing company involved in major markets including medical, automotive, agriculture, and hydraulic power. The company employs approximately 35-40 individuals. The work schedule is Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays. Summer hours (Memorial Day to Labor Day) are 6am-3pm Monday through Thursday and 6am-Noon on Friday. Non-summer hours are 6am-2:30pm Monday through Friday. The company is ISO 9001:2015 certified and practices Lean Manufacturing.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00/hr.
