This person is responsible for daily activities of analytical, statistical, and finished goods inspectors, assuring proper methods are begin used.

Maintain working knowledge and ability to backfill or train Quality Assurance technicians as needed Provide input to the scheduling of full-time and seasonal QA employees and provide training as needed Direct supervisors, prod. line leaders, and maint. personnel in interpretation of line sheet data, etc. Coordinate with Production and T&W personnel for products holds, sampling and testing, disposition and release of holds. Collect, prepare, package and prepare paperwork for samples to Headquarters QA, Canada, suppliers, customers, and potential customers Collect, prepare for shipment, track Nutritional Analysis samples for Headquarters QA. Maintain and update line sheets, process sheets, notices of pack, recipes, spice mixes, etc. as required. Maintain inventory of chemicals, testing solutions, etc. and order as needed. Issue recipes to Process Control and 3rd Floor Production Department assuring correct recipes are in use. Perform daily analytical prechecks and making recipe adjustments when necessary Perform standardization and maintenance on equipment. Prepare solutions for Vitamin C testing and pasteurizer bacteriological culturing Check daily schedule, print previous day’s report worksheet, change schedule, if necessary, add Accurately prepare various forms, correspondence, and reports by using typewriter, computer, etc. Maintain accurate and complete records. Maintain a neat, clean and orderly working area and follow safe practices. Report issues to supervisor. Misc. other duties as assigned by management. Keep work are clean and orderly Follow all safety and quality guidelines. Perform any other duty as required by supervisor or lead person. Qualifications: GED or greater required Requires applied mathematical skills Requires ability to follow SOPs accurately and keep accurate records. Requires accuracy in recordkeeping Requires good standing within the company to maintain qualification Requires computer literacy and capability to learn Quality Assurance systems#INDMFGH
