We're one global team driven by our common purpose to deliver a better world. Join us. **Job Description** **AECOM** is seeking a highly talented Quality Lead to join our team. This position will be responsible for compliance with the Quality Management Program (QMP) and directing and managing all QMP work. This position can be based in several cities, including: San Diego, Tucson, and El Paso. **The job responsibilities include but are not limited to:** Developing, implementing and enforcement of the project Quality Management Plan. Coordinates and directs the inspection of work performed by multiple disciplines. Performs all functions and responsibilities in partnership with the company’s culture, corporate vision, ethics and code of conduct. + Manages the quality assurance staff and all specialty subcontractor inspection entities to ensure all disciplines are in compliance with applicable owner/architect and government specifications, codes, regulations and requirements. + Ensures that the quality standards established in the contract are met. + Functions as the primary point of contact and liaison with the Owner (private or federal) for all quality control and quality assurance related issues. + Implements and/or manages the keeping of all quality control records and ensures that required reporting is accomplished. + Plans, schedules and coordinates (preparatory, initial and follow-up) to ensure that all required audits/inspections are performed and documented. + Define corrective measures for problem areas. + Reports results to the respective supervisor(s) in an expeditious manner and acts as catalyst for follow-up corrective actions and re-inspection when deficiencies are discovered. + Assists Project Safety Coordinator to implement and aggressively enforce safety program and practices to create a safe and healthy work environment. + Responsible for continuously expanding and updating professional knowledge and honing skills in order to enhance individual and team innovation and productivity. + Performs additional assignments as directed by supervisors or as assumed through personal initiative. **Qualifications** **Minimum Requirement:** + BA/BS + 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education in design management, construction, procedures, and testing, and large federal projects. + ISO 9001:2015 experience with implementation and compliance + Experience working on large federal projects + Due to the nature of the work, US citizenship is required **Preferred Qualification:** + Construction Quality Management Certification (CQM-C) + Significant experience working on large, federal construction projects **Additional Information** + This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of an enhanced background investigation, which may include, but is not limited to, verification of employment and education, a criminal history review, drug screening, and a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check, as applicable. Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.
